Kara Osburn

Founder & Owner

Specialties: Eating disorders, perinatal nutrition, and general wellness

To be honest, Kara never expected to become a dietitian. But along the way, she fell in love with how the field blends her passion for people with her curiosity about science.

Kara began her career in eating disorder care, where she was introduced to a model of nutrition that values the whole person—not just their food choices. She started Crescent Wellness Collective to expand that kind of individualized, compassionate care to anyone seeking support. Kara believes that health looks different for everyone, depending on their life stage, experiences, and goals. Her approach centers nutrition as a form of self-care, not self-control. She helps clients shift away from shame-based thinking and toward sustainable, empowering changes—rooted in kindness and curiosity.
